Senior and Masters Program
Our senior and Masters program are typically run on Mondays at 7PM and Thursdays at 7PM. Here our seniors learn the importance of warmups, drills and developing their own unique set of strengths. Everyone has a strength that is different from their team mates and competitors.
Our seniors age groups range from 15-29 and our Masters are 30 and up.
In our running programs athletes are given opportunities to participate in Provincial and National events as well as role model to our juniors. We teach injury prevention, nutrition provided by our registered dieticians and foot wear specialist at accupied orthodics that provide a 35% discount on footwear to all our athletes.
Many of our athletes also receive coaching certifications to aid in their knowledge of sport and offer opportunities for their development.
We teach our athletes skills to faciliate longevity of sport and sport for mental health. Our teaches are based on the Long-term Athlete Development model (LTAD) as we believe it's best to progress slowly to aid in success and longevity of sport.
Many of our athletes move on to have successful post secondary athletic and academic success. Several of our athletes have received scholarships/bursaries to support post secondary studies based on their time in our club.
